Pistons Misfiring
swallow down the circumstance
pausing still within a trance
lost in preparation
falsely celebrating emancipation
triumph after triumph raises the bar
without looking behind it can be forgotten how far
humans have climbed in a few million years
imagine if we could transcend the fears that delay unification amongst all this worlds peers
others expectations and aspirations
drilled into skulls from birth and constantly taught what is considered social worth
ethics and drama through social connections
every experience adds to the shelves in the brains library section
learning
learning
in a fit of evolution
forced to think harder
convinced there is a solution
on and on
evolve like a strain
forever trying to manipulate
the
game.

Dust
From an extracted drop of water
vacuumed into the depth of space,
came a schematic.
A windshield view of th highway formed a vision of this system from a cloud.
humans traveling like information in a computer.
Every atom of existence serving a purpose in the network.
And the higher individuals climb adds miles to knowledge.
The black of space is schizophrenic within concepts of altitude.
Farther and Farther until all that's left is white,
a dimension past common realities.
and the insignificance of existence is chaotic in the mind...
the Realization that everything continues without you....
but your energy has effects on the environment as well.
That drop of water is one day a wave crashing on a rocky beach...
and as they say on Ash Wednesday,
"Remember that you are dust, and to dust you will return."
a part of the cycle of life and death
a part of the whole of creation
a piece of everything and nothing
